How this illustration is calculated
Annual return assumptions are converted to effective monthly rates. SIPs are invested at the start of each month and increase after every 12 contributions. Contributions stop after your investment tenure. Savings continue to grow at the pre-retirement rate until retirement, then at the post-retirement rate, including any deferment.
Pension is a planned withdrawal, not a guaranteed pension product or annuity. The first withdrawal is at the end of the first month after pension-start age. Withdrawals increase after every 12 payments. A pension entered in today’s money is inflated only until pension starts; the separate withdrawal increase applies thereafter.
The target fund is the present value of planned withdrawals through your chosen end age, assuming no legacy reserve. Required starting SIP uses your selected annual SIP increase and existing savings. Your projected fund, chart and table use your entered SIP. Withdrawals stop at exhaustion and may include a partial final payment.
Returns are assumed constant. Figures are nominal and exclude taxes, fees and exit loads. Real markets fluctuate; longer life and unexpected costs may create a shortfall. Living expenses during deferment are not funded by this illustration. Inputs are not investment recommendations.
